There are some that they only lost their password this may seems easy to them because when they have their username or the email address then recovering their password can be easy. To reset your email password then follow these steps.
1. Enter any of your phone browsers. Recommended chrome.
2. Copy and enter this URL on the search bar http://accounts.google.com and click go.
3. When the pages loads then it will prompt you to enter your email or phone number (the phone number that used to register the email).
4. After you type your email then click on next.
5. The next page is to enter your password. Now since you don’t know your password then click on forgot password? Link.
6. The next page will ask you some security questions for verification, these questions are mostly; to type your phone and receive OTP code or copy security codes from your Google account settings from your previous device that you logged with that account. You can select any method that will be easy for you.
7. If you select to enter your phone number then after inputting the phone number and click on next you will receive an SMS from Google with your six digit codes, copy them and paste in the input box. After confirming those security codes you will be moved to the next screen in order to create new password.
After creating new password then you are done with this, next is to write down the password on piece of paper to keep it in a safe place or use Google password manager to store the password for you.
If you lost both of your email and password then try these steps to recover the email and also reset your password.
Using the same link provided above. After the requested page finishes loading then click on forgot email? Link.
The next page will prompt you to enter your phone number or your recovery email, then input your phone number and click on next to move to the next page.
This page will ask you to enter name on your Google account which is your first and last name, after putting your name then click on next.
The next page will require sending verification code to your phone number, clicking on send and waiting for the verification codes through SMS.
After receiving the six code digits then input them in the provided textbox and click on next.
Your email associated with the provided phone number will be displayed on the next screen, click on it.
This is the last step which will require you to create a new password, fill it and click on finish.
