An unknown small knowledge can takedown your phone battery draining issues - consider trying self help fixes from experts

Most of our phones battery capacity start to fade away with time, but there are some other factors that contribute to this. This post cover three factors that weakens your battery life. Follow up and read carefully.

Can your location be among to be blame?

GPS (Global positioning system) is an inbuilt application that provides a location information of a device in a real time.

GPS uses the technology of radio waves  between phone and the satellite which retrieve the position and time information.

GPS consumes battery because when GPS is active, it is currently in communication with two or more satellites in space, at this moment your phone is trying as hard to get your exact position which in turns increase the CPU clock speed and further decrease your battery charge in short period of time.

To boost your phone battery, always keep your GPS (Location) closed unless when needed, this will reduce the CPU clock speed to normal level.

Alternatively, some android phones has location modes which are High accuracy, battery savings and Device only, if it seems possible to use GPS in your phone, then always go for battery saving mode, this will make your battery last longer.

To turn off GPS (Location) scroll down notification bar if you are android user then tap the GPS icon (if it is ON) to turn it off. For iPhone users, scroll from bottom of your device (Notifications center) and click the location icon (if it is ON) to turn it off.

2. Brightness can be another top notch factor

Brightness is another factor to consider when it comes to power consumption,

Because brightness consumes power more than any other component of your phone. It is a best practice to make brightness very low or in moderate, this will help to extend your battery life, apart from the battery life using high brightness affect your eye when we consider about health aspect.

High brightness looks good but has some many impact to your device and you yourself. Android and iPhone offered a great feature called auto brightness, this feature sense the intensity of light in the environment which make the screen to dim when in places with low light and increase the brightness when expose to to a high light environment.

It is best to set your brightness to moderate or in an auto mode, this will increase your battery life exponentially.

3. Your device Wi-Fi is more than you think

WiFi (wireless fidelity) is a wireless technology that helps phones and computers to connect to the internet, it also serve as a medium of communication between two or more devices in a particular location.

WiFi uses a radio wave to communicate between devices.

WiFi consumes battery because when it is active it tries as much as possible to detect or to find any nearby public or private network and when the signal of the network connected is too low this also makes the phone to transfer at higher rate just to remain connected to the network, this in turns consumes your battery more than at normal usage.

It is good idea to always keep your WiFi off if not in use, this will greatly improve your battery life.

To close your WiFi scroll your notification bar and click on the WiFi icon (if it is active) to turn it off. For iPhone users, scroll from the bottom of your phone to open notification center and click on the WiFi icon (if it is active) to turn it off.

If you test all the above tips and find that your battery is still draining fast, then it is time to go for battery replacement.

I hope this help you to get rid of your battery from draining fast.
